Emergency Linux Cluster Maintenance

Emergency maintenance work took place today (Monday April 8, 2013) to correct a networking (cross-connect) issue within the data center.

That maintenance has been completed and all systems have been restored.

Windows cluster restored

Issues w/ the new cross connect that was implemented during the last migration have been resolved. Our windows servers are on a pipe that is five (5) times bigger now and should offer less latency and better performance for all of our windows hosted clientele.

We were informed by the datacenter this morning that they started some additional emergency maintenance that has impacted our windows cluster. We have been told to expect an approximate 2hr window. We will update the blog when we have further information.

Server Maintenance Update

As of 7:00p.m. Tuesday evening our linux based services were fully restored. Some of you will have noticed that your websites experienced NO outages during this time. We were able to move our linux based sites to a temporary environment before the move thus prohibiting any outage on those systems. As of 10:00p.m. we continue to work on network issues that have arisen as the result of the move on all windows based services. We will place updates here as available.

Server Maintenance

We were informed this afternoon by our datacenter that GCS servers will be physically relocated. The datacenter deems this critical due to connectivity concerns in our portion of the facility. This has been scheduled for 5:00p.m. MST, Tuesday March 26th.
This move will result in a service outage for up to several hours. We apologize for the late notice and the resulting outage, but this maintenance must be done to prevent any extended disruptions.

We are performing maintenance this evening to address out of band vulnerabilities reported by Microsoft for January 2013. We expect email delivery delays during this time, but no data will be lost. Email delivery will return to normal late this evening, we apologize for any inconvenience.

MailFoundry, support questions

Email flow has been returned to normal. We are working with Mail Foundry now to determine why their appliance/service has resulted in a delay twice in as many weeks.

We’ve had a few isolated reports of email delays this morning. Most tests are successful, but we are showing delays on some accounts.

We are aware of the issue and are working on it now, we will post here when we know more.

anti-spam filtering delays, resolved

Mail Foundry delays were resolved yesterday and we’ve been closely monitoring the system for 18 hrs. Everything is working as designed and we consider the issue closed. We apologize to our premium anti-spam customers for any inconvenience.
